Ferry Ridership Entry Application (Rich Internet Application)

CPI is completing a web-based “ridership entry” application for the Maine Ferry Service (through the Department of Transportation). The application allows administrators to enter seasonal schedules into the database, which get converted into individual trips. The operators on the boats then pick the trip they want to report on and enter information on passenger and vehicle counts.

The application makes substantial use of CSS, jQuery, and AJAX web technologies.

Herbicide Spray Reporting Application (ASP.Net Web Application)

Developed a web-based reporting system for use by contractors and State road crews to report roadside spray activities on a daily basis. The project entailed rapid website development using Dreamweaver and style sheets, development of site map with the customers, development of over 80 Oracle stored procedures and functions, substantial amounts of VB.Net code for processing data onto the web pages, and the development of several dynamic Oracle Reports. The entire website uses the latest state design templates and adheres to state and ADA guidelines.

Microsoft .Net Developers Training Courses

Provided training to over ten software developers in MDOT. This work included multiple weeklong sessions to train the developers in Microsoft’s .Net application platform, covering both Windows application development and ASP.Net web application development. Also provided training on VB.Net application development for mobile devices. That project involved providing VB.Net training courses to three programmers, then providing assistance in the development of prototype .Net and Java applications for the Pocket PC, and assisting in the writing of a final report.
