Email and Text Alerts
Clearpath CMS includes an Email Signup facility called “Alert Me” that allows the users to request an email or text alert across a range of categories that are predetermined by CMS administrators. Subscriptions require the public user to select from a list of categories, enter their email address, optional cell phone number for text message alerts, and answer a security question. Users complete the subscription process by clicking a link in an email sent to them by the application.
To send alerts to subscribers, CMS administrators use a backend administration screen to (1) compose an email or text message and (2) send it to a selectable list of categories. All subscribers of the targeted categories will receive the email/text alert.
